LinkedIn Accounts

Manage connected LinkedIn accounts, configure rate limits, and set send windows.

Your connected LinkedIn accounts power everything in Obert — signal discovery, campaign outreach, inbox management, and profile engagement. This page covers advanced account configuration beyond the initial setup.

Rate limits

Each LinkedIn account has daily limits that control how much activity Obert performs. These protect your accounts from LinkedIn restrictions.

View and edit limits

  1. Open SettingsAccounts.
  2. Click on an account to open its detail view.
  3. Under Daily Limits, adjust:
LimitDefaultDescription
Connection requests20/dayLinkedIn connection invitations sent.
Messages50/dayDirect messages to existing connections.
Profile views50/dayProfile visits (triggers "who viewed" notification).
InMails10/dayLinkedIn InMail messages (uses InMail credits).

Changes apply immediately. Obert tracks daily usage and stops activity when a limit is reached, resuming the next day.

LinkedIn account rate limits configuration

View daily usage

The account detail page shows current usage against limits for today. Each counter resets at midnight in the account's configured timezone.

If LinkedIn rate-limits your account (separate from Obert's limits), Obert detects this automatically and pauses activity until the restriction lifts. You'll see a "Rate limited" status on the account.

Send windows

Send windows define when Obert is allowed to act from each account. Activity outside these windows is queued and sent when the window opens.

Configure send windows

  1. In the account detail view, find Send Window.
  2. Set Work hours: start time and end time (e.g., 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
  3. Set Active days: which days of the week the account is active (e.g., Monday–Friday).
  4. Set the account's timezone.

Recipient timezone

Toggle Respect recipient timezone to adjust send times based on where your leads are located.

When enabled:

  • Obert checks the lead's resolved timezone (derived from their LinkedIn location).
  • Messages are only sent during business hours in the recipient's timezone.
  • If both sender and recipient windows are configured, the overlap is used.

When disabled:

  • Messages are sent during the sender's configured work hours regardless of the recipient's timezone.

Multiple accounts

When a campaign has multiple senders, Obert distributes leads using round-robin assignment. This means:

  • Lead 1 → Account A
  • Lead 2 → Account B
  • Lead 3 → Account A
  • And so on...

Benefits:

  • Higher throughput — combined daily limits across accounts.
  • Risk distribution — no single account bears all the activity.
  • Natural appearance — outreach from multiple real people looks more organic.

Sales Navigator

Accounts with LinkedIn Sales Navigator unlock additional capabilities:

  • Sales Navigator signals — import results from saved searches.
  • Extended profile viewer history — see more profile viewers.
  • Advanced search filters — available through keyword signals.

The Sales Navigator status is auto-detected when you connect the account.
