Instantly

Instantly is an email outreach platform. Connecting it to Obert lets you push leads into Instantly campaigns for email follow-ups alongside your LinkedIn outreach.

Set up the integration

1. Open Settings → Integrations.
2. Find Instantly under Outreach.
3. Click Configure.
4. Enter your Instantly API key (V2).
   • Find it in Instantly under Settings → API → API Keys.
   • Make sure you're using a V2 key, not V1.
5. Click Save.

Push leads to Instantly

1. Open a list and select leads.
2. Click Push to → Instantly.
3. Select an Instantly campaign from the dropdown.
4. Click Push.

Requirements

• Email is required. Instantly campaigns need an email address for each lead. Leads without emails are skipped.
• Batch limits. Obert sends up to 1,000 leads per API request.

Use in campaign sequences

Add an Add to Instantly step to your Obert campaign sequence for automatic email handoff:

1. Open your campaign's sequence editor.
2. Add an Integration step.
3. Select Instantly and choose the destination campaign.
4. Position it in your workflow — typically after a LinkedIn connection attempt, so leads who don't connect on LinkedIn get an email follow-up.

Multi-channel strategy

A common pattern is to combine Obert's LinkedIn campaigns with Instantly email campaigns:

1. Obert sends a LinkedIn connection request.
2. After a wait period, check if connected.
3. Connected → send a LinkedIn follow-up message.
4. Not connected → push to Instantly for an email sequence.

This ensures every lead gets outreach through at least one channel.
