Slack
Connect Slack to receive real-time notifications, lead alerts, and daily reports from Obert.
Connect your Slack workspace to Obert to receive notifications when new leads are discovered, scored, or when campaigns need attention. Slack integration is about awareness — it pushes alerts to your team, not lead data.
Set up the integration
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find Slack under Notifications.
- Click Connect Slack.
- Authorize Obert in the Slack OAuth window.
- Select the Slack workspace to connect.
- You're redirected back to Obert with a Connected status.
Configure channel subscriptions
Subscriptions control what notifications go where. Each subscription links a lead list to a Slack channel.
- In the Slack integration settings, click Add Subscription.
- Select a lead list to monitor.
- Select a Slack channel to receive notifications.
- Configure the subscription:
| Setting | Options | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Notification frequency | Real-time, every 15 min, hourly, daily | How often notifications are batched and sent. |
| Minimum ICP tier | High, Medium, Low | Only notify for leads at or above this score tier. |
| Signal filter | Any or specific signal | Only notify for leads from a specific signal. |
- Click Save.
You can create multiple subscriptions — for example, one channel for high-ICP leads in real-time and another for a daily digest of all discoveries.
Notification content
Each Slack notification includes:
- Lead name and headline
- Company and location
- ICP score and tier
- Which signal discovered them
- Link to the lead in Obert
- Link to the LinkedIn post that triggered the discovery (if applicable)
Daily reports
Obert can send a daily summary to a Slack channel:
- In the Slack integration settings, find Daily Report.
- Select a channel.
- Enable the daily report.
The report includes:
- Total leads discovered across all signals
- Breakdown by signal
- Top leads by ICP score
- Campaign activity summary
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| No notifications arriving | Check that the subscription is active and the channel exists. Obert's bot must be invited to the channel. |
| Too many notifications | Increase the minimum ICP tier or change frequency to hourly/daily. |
| Bot can't post to channel | In Slack, invite the Obert bot to the channel: type /invite @Obert in the channel. |
