Connections
Manage pending and accepted LinkedIn connection requests across your accounts.
The Connections view in the inbox lets you track LinkedIn connection requests sent from your campaigns and connected accounts.
View connections
- Go to Inbox in the left sidebar.
- Click the Connections tab.

Connection statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Connection request sent, waiting for response. |
| Accepted | The lead accepted your connection request. |
| Withdrawn | You withdrew the pending request. |
Campaign-linked connections
When a campaign sends a connection request, the connection is linked to that campaign. You'll see:
- Which campaign initiated the request
- The connection note that was sent
- When the request was sent
If the lead accepts, their campaign sequence continues automatically (the "Check Connection" condition passes).
Withdraw a pending request
If you want to cancel a pending connection request:
- Find the pending connection in the Connections tab.
- Click the menu icon → Withdraw.
- The request is cancelled on LinkedIn.
Withdrawing a connection request also stops the lead's campaign sequence if they were enrolled in one. The lead's status changes to "Stopped."
Connection events
When a lead accepts or rejects a connection:
- Accepted — Obert receives a webhook notification. The lead becomes a 1st-degree connection, enabling direct messages.
- No response — after the wait period in your campaign sequence, the "Check Connection" condition routes the lead to the "Not Connected" path.
