Comment on posts

Comment Agent writes a draft comment on a LinkedIn post. You edit it, then post from a connected sender.

Enable Comment Agent

1. Open Settings.
2. Under Social Listening, click Comment Agent.
3. Turn on the agent and set tone, persona, topics, and instructions.

You can also enable it on a single post (see below).

Comment on a post

1. Click Social Listening in the left sidebar.
2. Open a LinkedIn post from a search Posts tab or the New / All feed.
3. In the comment section, click Enable if Comment Agent is off for that post.
4. Click Generate Comment.
5. Edit the draft if needed. Obert auto-saves as you type.
6. Choose which LinkedIn account to comment as.
7. Click Post Comment.

While a comment is generating, the button shows Generating…. Hover and choose Cancel to stop.

Click Generate Comment again for a new version. When more than one draft exists, open versions to switch between them.

The gear icon opens Comment Agent in Settings again.

After a successful post, the toast is Comment posted successfully. Use View on LinkedIn when it appears.

Comment Agent applies to LinkedIn posts in Social Listening. It does not apply to Hacker News or GitHub matches.
