Senders

Connect LinkedIn and email inboxes for each outbound identity.

A sender is an outbound identity: one LinkedIn account (optional) plus one or more email inboxes. Campaigns and inbox sending use senders you configure here.

  1. Open Settings → Senders.
  2. Select a sender in the sidebar, or click New sender to create one.

Empty state copy: outbound identities for your team — connect LinkedIn and email, then assign them in campaigns.

Sender profile

Each sender shows:

  • Name — double-click the title to rename, or use the menu → Rename.
  • Managed by — workspace member responsible for this sender.
  • Channels — LinkedIn and Email inboxes.

Menu actions include Delete sender (disconnects LinkedIn and mailboxes; active campaigns using this sender may pause steps).

Connect LinkedIn

If LinkedIn is not connected:

  1. Use Connect LinkedIn on the sender.
  2. Complete LinkedIn authorization.

When connected, the LinkedIn card shows status and a link to Manage LinkedIn account — opens LinkedIn limits, send windows, and inbox filter settings for that account.

LinkedIn account settings

From Manage LinkedIn account:

Daily LimitsOutreach — Connections, Messages, InMails. Engagement — Likes, Profile views, Follows, Withdrawals. Usage counters show today’s consumption.
Working hoursSend window, active days, timezone, Respect recipient timezone, and optional minute randomization
Reconnect AccountRefresh the LinkedIn session after disconnects

Obert may show Weekly connection limit reached when LinkedIn throttles invites; Obert pauses and resumes automatically.

Connect email

  1. On the sender, open Connect inbox (Connect inbox dialog).
  2. Choose Personal inbox → Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP to sign in to an existing mailbox, or
  3. Choose Obert mailbox and assign an unassigned mailbox from Email infrastructure.

Send email campaign steps send from one of the inboxes on the sender. Use Manage email inbox on a connected row for per-inbox limits and details.

Plan limits

If you hit the sender cap, Obert shows Sender limit reached with a link to Plan & Billing. Your plan defines how many senders can have LinkedIn connected.

Multiple senders in campaigns

Campaigns with several senders distribute leads across them (round-robin). Combined limits increase throughput and spread activity across accounts.
