Manage Campaign Leads

Enroll leads, track individual progress, handle failures, and manage lead status within a campaign.

Once a campaign is live, the Leads tab shows every enrolled lead and their progress through the sequence.

Enroll leads

Leads are enrolled when you launch the campaign. To add more leads to an active campaign:

  1. Open the campaign detail page.
  2. Click Add Leads.
  3. Select a list to enroll from, or choose individual leads.
  4. Click Enroll.

Add leads to an active campaign

New leads are assigned to senders via round-robin and enter the sequence at the first step.

Track individual lead progress

In the campaign's Leads tab, each lead shows:

ColumnDescription
NameLead name with link to their profile.
StatusPending, in progress, completed, failed, or awaiting review.
Current stepWhich sequence node they're at.
SenderAssigned LinkedIn account.
Last actionMost recent step executed and when.
Next actionWhat happens next and when it's scheduled.

Click a lead to see their full action history within this campaign.

Send a lead immediately

To skip the queue and process a lead right now:

  1. Find the lead in the campaign's Leads tab.
  2. Click the menu icon → Send Now.
  3. The next step in their sequence executes immediately (bypassing the send window).

Stop a lead

To remove a lead from a campaign without deleting them:

  1. Find the lead in the Leads tab.
  2. Click the menu icon → Stop.
  3. The lead's status changes to "Stopped." No further actions are taken.

The lead remains in your database and lists — only the campaign enrollment is affected.

Handle failures

Filter the Leads tab by Failed status to see leads with issues:

  • Connection request failed — LinkedIn rejected the invite. Usually a rate limit. Obert retries automatically.
  • Message not delivered — Lead isn't a 1st-degree connection. Check your sequence logic.
  • Account disconnected — The assigned sender's session expired. Reconnect in Settings.

For persistent failures, check the lead's action history for specific error messages.
