Assign Senders
Choose which LinkedIn accounts send outreach and configure round-robin distribution.
Senders are the LinkedIn accounts that execute your campaign — sending connection requests, messages, and performing engagement actions. Assigning multiple senders distributes the workload and keeps each account within safe activity limits.
Assign senders to a campaign
- Open your campaign (in Draft status).
- Go to the Senders section.
- Click Add Sender.
- Select one or more connected LinkedIn accounts.

Each sender shows their daily limits and current usage so you can estimate campaign throughput.
Round-robin distribution
When a campaign has multiple senders, Obert distributes leads evenly:
- Lead 1 → Sender A
- Lead 2 → Sender B
- Lead 3 → Sender C
- Lead 4 → Sender A
- And so on...
Assignment happens at enrollment time. Once a lead is assigned to a sender, that sender handles all steps in the sequence for that lead.
Sender capacity
Each sender's daily limits determine how many leads can be processed per day:
| Limit | Impact |
|---|---|
| Connection requests | Caps how many new leads can receive connection requests. |
| Messages | Caps how many follow-up messages can be sent. |
| Profile views | Caps how many profile view steps can execute. |
Example: 3 senders with 20 connections/day each = up to 60 connections/day for the campaign.
Change senders after launch
You can add or remove senders from an active campaign:
- Adding a sender — new leads may be assigned to them. Existing assignments don't change.
- Removing a sender — leads assigned to that sender are paused. You'll need to reassign or wait for them to complete.
Removing the only sender from a campaign pauses all lead processing. Always keep at least one active sender.
Tips
- Match senders to personas. If your campaign targets CTOs, assign a sender with a technical profile. People respond better to peers.
- Spread the load. More senders = faster campaign execution and lower risk per account.
- Check usage before adding. If a sender is already near their daily limits from another campaign, adding them won't increase throughput.
