Campaigns
Create a Campaign
Build a LinkedIn outreach campaign from audience selection to sequence design.
Creating a campaign connects your lead lists to automated LinkedIn outreach. This guide walks through the full creation flow.
Prerequisites
- At least one connected LinkedIn account
- At least one list with approved leads
Step 1: Start the campaign wizard
- Click Campaigns in the left sidebar.
- Click Create Campaign in the top-right corner.
- Enter a name for your campaign.

Step 2: Select your audience
- Under Lead Lists, click Add List.
- Select one or more lists to use as the campaign audience.
- Optionally add exclusion lists — leads in these lists are skipped even if they appear in your included lists.
The total number of eligible leads is shown based on your selection.
Only approved leads from the selected lists are enrolled. Pending and rejected leads are skipped.
Step 3: Assign senders
- Under Senders, select one or more connected LinkedIn accounts.
- If you select multiple senders, Obert distributes leads across them evenly using round-robin assignment.
Each sender's daily limits and send window are shown so you can estimate throughput.

Step 4: Design the sequence
This is where you build the outreach workflow. See Design a Sequence for the full guide.
At minimum, a campaign needs:
- A Send Connection Request step with an optional connection note.
- A Wait step (e.g., 3 days).
- A Check Connection condition to branch based on whether the lead accepted.
- A Send Message step for connected leads.

Step 5: Review and launch
- Review the summary: audience size, senders, sequence steps, and estimated timeline.
- Click Save as Draft to finalize later, or Go Live to launch immediately.
Once live, Obert starts enrolling leads and executing the first step of the sequence. You can monitor progress in the campaign detail page.
What happens after launch
- Leads are enrolled in batches and assigned to senders.
- Each lead progresses through the sequence independently.
- Rate limits and send windows are respected automatically.
- If a lead replies at any point, their sequence is paused (you handle the conversation in the inbox).
- Failed sends are retried automatically. Persistent failures are flagged for review.
